What a week!
We're finally done with Missions Emphasis Week - it's a bittersweet ending, for sure! Summer has been involved with MEW her entire time at LeTourneau - it will be an event very much missed after graduation, but it's so nice to finally be able to rest! It's been a long week, with long days and a lot of work. We enjoyed the time spent reconnecting with missionaries we know: Mark Foshager from International Teams, Judy Keith from Barnabas International, the Thompson's from Tri-Grace Ministries, and the Larsen's from The Master's Mission.
Jon has been steadily working - between his 8-5 job and his online class and Summer's 2 1/2 jobs and full-time student-hood, we're staying pretty busy! While this week has been great, we look forward to having more time at home, and are excited to be able to open our home to friends some evenings (now that we'll actually be home!).
Now that this week is over, it's time to "bunker down" and push on with the semester. Summer has officially registered for graduation, so now it's time to finish this leg of the race. :)
